The short version
StepOver doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies, so you won’t see a cookie pop-up. We only save what the game needs to work: keeping you signed in, your settings and your scores. These are saved in your browser’s storage on your own device, and we never use them to follow you around the internet.
1. What we save on your device

None of these are sent to advertisers. Only the sign-in token is ever sent to our servers, and only to prove it’s you.
2. Other companies
- Cloudflare, which hosts our site, may set a short-lived security cookie to tell real visitors apart from bots. It isn’t used for tracking.
- Stripe sets its own cookies on its payment page (on stripe.com) to keep payments secure and prevent fraud. See Stripe’s cookie policy.
- Amazon sets its own cookies if you follow one of our links to its website.
3. Clear it all
This button removes everything StepOver has saved in this browser, including your scores, stats and settings, and signs you out. It can’t be undone. Your account itself isn’t deleted (you can do that on the account page).
4. Using your browser instead
You can also clear or block site data in your browser’s settings (usually under Privacy, “Cookies and site data”). If you block it completely, you won’t be able to stay signed in and your scores won’t be saved.
